Senior Resource Geologist

Own the estimation and classification engine. Codify JORC 2012 / NI 43-101 practice into calibrated workflows customers can trust.

What you'll do
  • Author and review variogram, kriging and IDW workflow defaults across gold, copper, iron and lithium deposits.
  • Design QA/QC dashboards that surface anomalies before customers ever hit the estimation stage.
  • Partner with product to translate CP-level judgement into reproducible, auditable software behaviour.

Senior Frontend Engineer · WebGL / 3D

Push our 3D viewer past 500k blocks at 60 FPS. Own the R3F / Three.js render pipeline end-to-end.

What you'll do
  • Build instanced-mesh render paths for block models, drillhole traces, wireframes and pit shells.
  • Ship section clipping, isosurface extraction, and interactive grade-tonnage brushing.
  • Profile GPU frames with SpectorJS and land measurable performance wins each sprint.

Mining Engineer · Scheduling & Pit Design

Shape our Lerchs–Grossmann, pushback and phase-scheduling modules. You've built mine plans; now build the tool that plans mines.

What you'll do
  • Define bench slope, ramp and stripping default libraries by commodity and pit geometry.
  • Prototype NPV-optimising phase schedules with realistic haulage and processing constraints.
  • Represent SMIN in customer workshops from feasibility studies to producing operations.

Senior Backend Engineer · Python / FastAPI

Own the compute backbone — million-row assay ingestion, kriging solvers, LG pit optimisation and report generation pipelines.

What you'll do
  • Architect async pipelines for 500M+ row assay ingestion with automatic QA/QC.
  • Land measurable perf wins on estimation and LG solvers (Rust or C extensions welcome).
  • Ship signed PDF / DOCX / XLSX / PPTX report generators with pixel-perfect templating.

Product Designer · Enterprise UX

  • Own the SMIN design system (Figma) and its React component library (shadcn/ui).
  • Prototype 3D-heavy workflows in browser using Figma → Framer → React.
  • Run monthly usability sessions with real competent persons on real datasets.

Be the first mining professional our customers meet after signing. Own onboarding, adoption and expansion for a portfolio of accounts.

What you'll do
  • Lead white-glove onboarding for junior explorers and mid-tier producers.
  • Configure workflow templates by commodity for each customer's first project.
  • Feed practitioner-grade feedback directly into the product roadmap.
